Building Africa's
trust layer.
The infrastructure that makes every deal in Africa safe to start — and guaranteed to finish.
Our story
Crednce started with a simple frustration: in Africa's growing digital economy, deals kept falling apart. Freelancers delivered work and never got paid. Clients paid upfront and received nothing. There was no neutral ground, just broken trust and no recourse.
We realised that the problem wasn't payment, Africa already had mobile money and payment gateways. The problem was the layer underneath: infrastructure that should verify delivery, hold funds safely, and release them only when both sides are satisfied. That layer simply didn't exist.
So we built it. Crednce is Africa's delivery guarantee platform, a combination of smart escrow, AI-powered deliverable verification, and automated dispute resolution. Not a payment app. Not a project management tool. A trust layer, the missing piece that makes every deal safe to start and guaranteed to finish.
Today, Crednce protects deals across services, goods, and commodity trade. And we're just getting started, because every business in Africa deserves to operate without fear.
What we stand for
Principles we build on
Trust through verification
We don't take anyone's word for it. AI-powered deliverable checks and a structured dispute engine mean every milestone is objectively assessed, not argued over.
Built for the informal economy
Most of Africa's commerce happens outside formal legal structures. Crednce provides the guarantee that courts and contracts can't, fast, affordable, and always on.
Infrastructure, not an app
We sit at the trust layer, not the surface. Banks, platforms, and marketplaces plug Crednce in beneath their products so every deal they facilitate is protected.
